Right Angle Boot

Right Angle Bootis a an elastic protection element which is used to provide an insulation to the bushings inside the termination box in case where the clearance between phase and phase to earth is less as compared to the normal air clearance. It also helps to protect cables against flashover in the case of high humidity, rodent menace and surge impulse. This highly elastic component is fabricated from cross linked non tracking polyolefin having a tensile strength of 12 Newton per square millimetres.
